Tim Munn – director

Tim founded Marine Zero in 2021 to help accelerate the transition of the maritime industry to a cleaner future. He also co-founded Marine2o Group, a hydrogen infrastructure startup based in London. Vice Chair of the Zero Emissions Ship Technology Association (ZESTAs), Tim is also Chair of the National Maritime UK Marine Hydrogen and Future Fuels Working Group. Previously, Tim worked for the global technology leader ABB as an engineer for their Motion business, and as head of UK Sales and Marketing for their Marine and Ports business. Tim is passionate about maritime sustainability and has a substantial network of contacts within the maritime and ports sector.
Andy Hurley – director

Andy is a distinguished Master Mariner with extensive operational and strategic management expertise. He maintains established and valuable working relationships with leading classification authorities including Lloyd’s Register and the Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA), enabling him to develop industry-leading training and operating protocols for next-generation vessel propulsion systems. Andy is Marine Zero’s project lead for Electric Thames, an exciting collaboration with UK Power Networks, LCP Delta and the Port of London Authority (PLA) which is exploring the potential for vessel-2-grid infrastructure and technology to support the decarbonisation ambitions of the UK’s capital.
